James Da Barber is a fitting moniker for this former tonsorial artist who provides DLG (Dark Latin Groove) with its rich baritone voice. De Jesus, or James Da Barber as he is more commonly known, is an original member of DLG the worlds hottest Latin recording group. Da Barber is too mundane a label for this creative genius. Whether creating the latest hairstyle, or fashioning lyrics, his artistry shines through. Who can forget the catchy DLG anthem No Morira, No Mori.

Mr. De Jesus is a show business veteran having been a member of the trail blazing hip-hop group Zhiggy. He also was a Sister Soldier regular and was featured with Latin legend Tito Nieves. This Puerto Rican East Harlem (El Barrio) native, grew up with a fine appreciation for Latin music, which he heard daily at home. Latin icons like Johnny Pacheco, Ruben Blades and Grand Combo were regular guests in the De Jesus household.
